Job Description
Attacat have been successfully offering Google AdWords and search engine marketing management services for over a decade. The company is now keen to create a self-service offering to support smaller advertisers in managing their own campaigns. Your role will be to assist Attacat’s PPC marketing team to create the new offering.
The successful applicants will be trained up in search engine advertising/PPC. In doing so you will inevitably ask all the questions that a client will want to ask, thus bringing a highly sought “outsider’s perspective” which will assist the team in producing a series of processes, tools and training documents that would be easily understandable to a novice.
The role would be flexible and constantly reviewed so that it can bend to new requirements, but would generally include the following:
- Investigate basics of PPC and online advertising;
- Develop step by step processes in a clear and concise manner;
- Produce training documents detailing and explaining these processes;
- Explore communication channels such as video-conferences, screen-sharing and screen-recording to better train the client.
Clearly to do this job well, you will need to get firsthand experience of managing campaigns so you will therefore spend a good proportion of your time assisting the PPC team in the day to day delivery of PPC management for clients. Your "journey of discovery" during the first six months can then be used to make a blueprint for future clients to follow.
Once the product is created you will likely become involved in the marketing and/or delivery of the product.
Qualifications
Minimum 2.1 degree in any discipline including marketing, sciences, social sciences and mathematical. You will not have flunked your stats module though!
