Job summary

We are currently looking for an Electronics Engineer to strengthen our support of the manufacture of all commercialised products and continuously driving improvements. The Electronics Engineer will work with the Sustaining Engineering Team which is responsible for the continuous improvement of all processes for commercialising product.

Job Description

  • Root Cause Analysis of current issues and proposal of solutions.
  • Identification and implementation of process changes to improve productivity, roll through yield and to reduce cost.
  • Qualification of processes (IQ, OQ and PQ) activities associated with introduction of process and product changes.
  • Development and implementation of test solutions in the Supply Chain to improve the quality of incoming parts.
  • Implementation of design changes released by the Product Engineering Team.
  • Proposal of possible solutions to improve DFX, Design for LEAN, Design for Six Sigma and cost reduction.
  • Improvement of test coverage and test processes.
  • Addressing obsolescence issues to ensure continuity of supply.

Skills / Experience

  • Previous experience in electronics design engineering essential.
  • Strong competence in electronics design and analysis.
  • Thorough knowledge of electronics assembly processes and test methodologies.
  • Functional knowledge of ISO13485 and FDA Medical Device Design Control processes desirable.
  • Ability to collaborate with other development teams to provide robust and workable solutions.
  • Excellent planning, time management, communication, decision-making and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical, interpretation skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate innovativeness, resourcefulness and initiative to find a solution in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in electronics or equivalent education gained through work experiences.
