Job summary

You will primarily be responsible for the technical and business management of the project processes for all works associated primarily with the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Project. You will have an open role which will be involved in many aspects of the projects with scope for personal development.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assistance to Document Controller and 4 Projects management
  • Assisting with all aspects of Consenting the Inch Cape Project, including Open Days, Stakeholder communication management, checking and verifying invoicing, management of correct contract documentation and monthly reporting documents are obtain and checked. Liaison with other departments in Repsol to manage environmental and consenting data.

Assisting with:

  • Financial monitoring and reporting.
  • Documentation & process management.
  • KPI management.
  • Programme updates, interfacing with the Projects Control team.
  • Managing of environmental and consenting project files.
  • Assisting with the preparation, execution and delivery of environment and consenting applications, including management of the printing, coordination of the review process and liaison with project team to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Assisting the project team in reviewing and establishing policy, processes and procedures.
  • Effective recording and reporting.

Dimensions of role:

  • Working as an integral member of focussed project teams.
  • Mainly office based, with requirements for site visits, off site meetings and overnight stays, when required.
  • External contacts – Key external stakeholders / statutory bodies / local government.
  • Internal contacts – various parties across the company's business groups.

Skills / Experience

  • Experience of working in a major projects environment.
  • Formal business or technical qualification.
  • Strong and confident communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage approved ideas/ innovations into approved procedures.
  • Ability to challenge existing Company standards, policy and procedures and where appropriate suggest and develop improvements.
  • High degree of competency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with IT drawing applications and Microsoft Project would be beneficial.
  • Capacity to deliver high quality work in a demanding environment.
