Youth Mobility Scheme

UK Border Agency logoPeople on the Youth Mobility Scheme are sponsored by their own national governments and you don't need a licence to employ them. If successful, they are granted two years’ leave and can do any job except professional sportsperson or doctor in training.

The Youth Mobility Scheme is for young people aged between 18 and 30 from Australia, Canada, Japan, Monaco, New Zealand and Taiwan. 

British overseas citizens, British overseas territories citizens and British nationals (overseas) can also apply under the scheme and do not require a sponsor.

Applicants must score 50 points – 30 for nationality, 10 for age and 10 for maintenance.
