What is your company background?
NetIDme is an independent software and services development company based in East Kilbride, Scotland. We provide a suite of online age and identity verification solutions for businesses operating in Remote Gambling, iGaming, eRetail and Online Community markets seeking to establish robust automatic online age and identity verification processes to adhere to current and pending UK, European and USA legislation.
Why did you choose to take on a graduate placement?
We learned about the TalentScotland Graduate Placement Programme from Business Gateway and Scottish Enterprise, and at the time had a need for additional resource in our Business Development Department. In particular, we needed someone up-to-date with recent marketing developments, to bring fresh ideas to the business. The Graduate Placement Programme particularly appealed as it gave us time to assess the candidate before offering a permanent position.
What is your graduate involved in?
Currently, her time is divided between digital marketing and project work. Jenny manages our PPC campaign. She also works on SEO through the development of new website content. With regards to project work she controls our branding and ensures that the customer facing aspect of the NetIDme product suite is presented effectively. She works as part of the project team to ensure that all processes are optimised for the end user.
How is the graduate placement programme benefiting your organisation?
By bringing fresh eyes and developing our marketing activities with a view to our future growth.
