What are the costs?
As a host company, you'll be responsible for paying your placement graduate's salary.* This is set at a minimum rate of £14,000 per year, pro rata, with a maximum project length of one year. A supplement of £1,500 will be offered to placements based in the Highlands and Islands to encourage graduates to work in the area.
You'll also be responsible for upholding the graduate's statutory employment rights.
*The programme is open to all businesses and social enterprises. Funding may be available based on project type.
