Company Logo

Founded by Ged Grimes, an original member of Scottish pop band Danny Wilson (“Mary’s Prayer”), the company has enjoyed global success producing music for top selling computer games including Enter The Matrix, Amplitude and American Idol.

The company is uniquely placed to initiate areas of creative collaboration between the games industry and the music industry’s emerging talent. Jack’s Hoose Music’s work on music game titles such as Amplitude (Sony) and Rhythmic Star (Namco) has brought music and gaming fans together resulting in a truly immersive interactive experience for the game player.

Other notable projects have included licensing original music to Universal Pictures for:

  • “The Bourne Supremacy” movie trailer
  • theme music for SKY TV Games
  • “Shrek 3”
  • “Ben 10”
  • “Tom and Jerry”
  • and the eclectic game soundtrack to comic super-hero “Earthworm Jim 3D”.

2010 will see the release of the highly anticipated X Box game “Quarrel”. The game’s live Latin music soundtrack written and produced by Ged, features Scotland’s finest horn players and is integral to the gamplay.

JHM was a recent beneficiary of a Scottish Music Futures Award and this has assisted the company in growing its roster of new musical talent through the launch of a new digital record label, Heist records. The company currently represents a range of acts for licensing including DJ artist Farfletched and indie rock band Avast.
