Scotland is famous for it's high quality food and drink products such as whisky, salmon, seafood, and beef, which are exported all over the world. 

It's a growing industry sector that makes a significant contribution to the Scottish economy through processing sales, and agriculture, aquaculture and fish catching.

Employers

The majority of employers are small to medium sized Scottish companies, which are to be found throughout the country including rural and island locations.

However, there are also a growing number of international food companies with operations in Scotland, including Nestlé-Rowntree, Patak’s, Youngs Seafoods, DSM Nutritional Products, the Greencore Group, and Lactalis.
