While making the move to Scotland, as well as your family and personal possessions to think about, you may also have a family pet you need to bring with you.

Scotland follows the UK immigration rules on bringing pets into the country and different rules apply depending on where you begin your travels.

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) provides advice on bringing pets to the UK.
