Do European Economic Area (EEA) workers need a visa?

The EEA is made up of the 27 member countries of the European Union (EU) and a few others.

Nationals from the following member states can work in Scotland:

Austria, Belgium,Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovania, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.

Although Switzerland is not in the EEA, Swiss nationals can also work in Scotland.
