Getting around Scotland by plane

From the world’s shortest flight across the Orkney Islands - at just over a minute - to staying connected with family across the globe, Scotland’s airports have it covered.

Our four main airports in Glasgow, Glasgow Prestwick, Edinburgh and Aberdeen serve over 150 destinations. You can fly directly to North America, the Middle East and Europe – or connect to your destination via European cities like Frankfurt, Paris or Amsterdam.

Our numerous regional airports in Dundee, Inverness, Outer Herbrides, Orkney and Shetland link the country from coast-to-coast. For a particularly unique experience, you can even fly from Scotland’s small island Barra where the runway is actually a beach.

And doing business in key hubs like London is easy. It only takes an hour to fly there from both Glasgow and Edinburgh.
