Batch Control Systems Ltd (BCS) was established in 1996 and has earned an enviable reputation for delivering first class service in the automation field. Having initially specialised in the Pharmaceutical industry we have grown and gained vast experience in the following sectors:
- Oil and Gas
- Food and Beverage
- Energy from Waste
At BCS we design, configure, test, install and commission new; modify existing, automated processes and control systems on factory lines. We also provide a support service for many of out clients.
Our work involves programming PLCs and SCADA systems (PC's)/HMI;which in-turn alows the operators to inter face with the plant.
On large projects BCS subcontract the building of the panels which house the PLCs; as well as the electrical wiring from the various instruments on the plant. BCS engineers write the programme, which makes the PLC function as the client requires likewise BCS engineers write the programme, which makes the SCADA function as the client requires.
Currently BCS employs 21 people ranging from trainee level to highly experienced time served engineers. the Engineering staff work with a variety of software products including but not limited to Siemens, DeltaV, Allan Bradley and GE Fanuc.
Since 2005 we have been approved by Lloyd's Register of quality Assurance to ISO 9001:2000. In 2010 we made the transition from 9001:2000 to ISO 9001:2008. This allows us to tender for large scale projects with blue chip clients.
In 2011 we joined The Institue of Measurement and Control as a Companion Company. As the only professional body in the UK automation sector dedicated to the science and application of measurement and control, the InstMC provide us with an audience and an information exchange facility that are exactly right for your business.
