TPP Global Development

TPP is a well-funded drug discovery company based in Edinburgh, Scotland, that aims to address the major unmet needs in the fields of nervous system disorders, immunology and certain areas of oncology.

TPP Global Development

TPP in-licenses novel intellectual property (IP) from universities and research institutes, and develops this IP into preclinical drug assets that are then sold to large Pharma / Biotech companies, or spun out into separate companies.

TPP's management team has significant experience of evaluating and monitoring drug development programmes from the initial discovery stage, through to the clinical phases and the final approval and marketing steps. Management's varied background in developmental and clinical research, as well as healthcare investment, affords TPP a unique perspective on the drug development process.

TPP aims to form genuine partnerships with academic researchers throughout the UK, Europe, US and Asia in order to facilitate the successful translation of the most novel and exciting ideas into safe and effective drugs.

TPP is currently in the process of expanding its team, and seeks talented and highly-motivated graduates, PhDs and experienced professionals who have an underlying passion for translational science.

In addition to a reputation for world-class arts and theatre, both during and outside the festivals, it was also awarded the title as the first “City of Literature”.

Edinburgh remains a compact, friendly city with a low cost-of-living and often features highly in league tables of the most desirable place to live in the UK. With a large student population, a bustling night-life, a huge range of sports clubs and facilities, and easy access to the surrounding countryside and Scottish Highlands, Edinburgh offers plenty to keep you occupied outside of working hours too.
