Jo Halliday CEO and Founder Talking Medicines

Who we are/What we do

We are a data tech company co-founded by Jo Halliday, Dr Elizabeth Fairley and Dr Scott Crae in 2013 to serve the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

We provide deep market intelligence on the patient and their medicines. We capture, curate and structure the unstructured insights on what people are saying and doing when they take their medicines in the community - the who, how and why.

Patient insights are captured through proprietary tech tools engaging with patients both directly and indirectly. TM harness the voice of the patient from the growing proportion of the world’s population who are active on social media and who are using health devices. Through a combination of AI/ML and NLP technologies they decode rich patient intelligence at scale. Data is structured to the Talking Medicines database of curated medicines which aligns to approved global medicines.

The new AI data service will translate what patients are saying into actionable intelligence by providing a global Patient Confidence Score by medicine. This addresses the need for pharmaceutical companies, insurance providers and pharmacies to listen to their patients in the real world. By mapping the intelligence on what they think about their medicines and how they are taken, customers can drive more efficient marketing and better health outcomes.
