Since 1935, Morgan Stanley has been one of the major financial advisors to companies, governments and investors from around the world.
We are a global banking business and have offices in more than 42 countries.
Our major business units are in global capital markets, investment banking, investment management, research, sales and trading and wealth management. We support these businesses via a robust global infrastructure including things like operations, finance and the technology division.
Morgan Stanley has been in Glasgow for just over 10 years. It started with six people in 2000 and now has more than 1,100 employees working across a range of divisions.

I’ve worked in a number of other investment banks and from the top down Morgan Stanley puts a strong emphasis on caring and looking after its employees. There are opportunities further study, internal job mobility and relocation to other offices.
The technology department is quite a diverse team. We specialise in anything from IT security forensics, to distributed development in Java and Net technologies and mainframe and financial reporting applications.
Globally, we have a large technology team of around 8,000 people working on a wide spectrum of projects.
